As part of the Government of West Bengal's Aranya Saptaha initiative, a programme was organized at the Chanda Paints factory on 20th July 2026. The event was arranged by the Kalyani Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
The programme was attended by several Government Officials, representatives from local institutions and industries and students.

The event was attended by the Dy. Magistrate & Collector, General Manager - District Industries Centre, Kalyani, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Officer-in-Charge of Gayeshpur Police Station, Inspector-in-Charge of Kalyani Police Station, SDO - Kalyani Sub Division, Block Development Officer, and representatives from Gayeshpur Municipality, including the Barababu, Executive Officer and Finance Officer.
Representatives from Kalyani Chamber of Commerce & Industries as well as Tega Industries, A B Mouri, TDK Pvt. Ltd., and Phoenix Conveyor Belt India Pvt. Ltd. were also present.
The programme further saw the participation of the Headmistress of Chandmari Nagendrabala Balika Vidyalaya along with five students.
Chanda Paints was pleased to host the Aranya Saptaha programme at its factory as part of this initiative by the Government of West Bengal and the Kalyani Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
A Meaningful Initiative at Chanda Paints
The Aranya Saptaha programme brought together representatives from the Government, local administration, industries, commerce and education at the Chanda Paints factory. The organization was pleased to be a part of this initiative, arranged by the Kalyani Chamber of Commerce & Industries under the initiative of the Government of West Bengal. Top Brasses from various Government Departments planted saplings in places within the factory.
